Right now, I’m a stay-at-home mom rapidly approaching my 30s. I live in western North Carolina with my husband, a toddler son, 3 dogs, and a cat. I worked as a correctional officer (prison guard) and real estate agent until my son was born, and now I work from home as a freelance writer and website designer.

I am a Christian and, while I mess up a lot, I try to live my life according to the Bible. I love to read and enjoy studying theology, history, and American social and political movements. I am working up from being a walker to a runner and am training for my first triathlon. I support health at every size, and encourage people to love and nurture their bodies with healthy food and exercise or movement they enjoy, regardless of their weight or body shape. I love animals and am active against breed-specific legislation and other unfair policies targeting pit bulls and other maligned dog breeds.

This is just a place-holder right now, while I devote time to some other websites and projects and decide what I want to do with this URL.
